CAFE THRIFT

It’s almost time to go thrifting for free at Scioto!  Cafe Thrift is coming up Wednesday, December 6th!  For those parents new to Scioto, Cafe Thrift was started 12 years ago by Teachers, Students and PTO.  We collect new and gently used clothing, shoes and accessories throughout the year from the Irish community, OneDublin and Plato’s Closet.  We then host a HUGE FREE

shopping event OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS during the school day.  The students always have a great time!

We could definitely use the help of our Irish community!  We need help sorting and will need an army of volunteers to help set up on December 5th and to help throughout the day on December 6th.

Please see the Signup Genius below and consider signing up to help- any amount of time is greatly appreciated!

AFTER PROM PARTY-VOLUNTEERS AND DONATIONS NEEDED

AFTER PROM SIGN UP

The Dublin Scioto PTO is hosting an After Prom Party on Saturday, April 29th at Bowlero (formerly Sawmill Lanes), 4825 Sawmill Rd, 11:00 pm to 2:00 am.   The After Prom Party is open to all Junior and Senior Students and their dates (even if they do not attend DSHS Prom).  The cost is $15.00 per student.  Students will be provided unlimited bowling, shoe rental, arcade games, casino games, food, prizes and entertainment.

Each year the PTO undertakes the responsibility of planning and sponsoring a drug and alcohol-free After Prom Party to provide our teens with a safe, fun-filled, memorable evening. The cost to provide unlimited games, food, prizes, and entertainment is substantial for our organization. The majority of the funds raised come from parent and business donations, as well as fundraising efforts. The donations make it possible to keep the ticket cost to a minimum so more students are able to attend. 100% of the money raised is spent on rental of Bowlero, food, arcade games, casino games, and great prizes for the students.  At this time, we are in need of sponsors, gift cards and volunteers.  Please click on the link below to see all the ways you can help!

Thank you so much for your support!  We are looking forward to a great night with our DSHS students!
