Scioto PTO Membership Drive

Scioto PTO is kicking off the Annual Membership Drive!

Being an active member of the Scioto PTO is an effective way to be involved in your student’s life at school, meet other Scioto families, and build a relationship with school administrators and staff! The PTO provides a “link” between home and school and strives to ensure the success of each student. Our annual Membership Drive provides the majority of the PTO funding and supports a number of services and activities including: After Prom, Global Read-a-Latte, Café Thrift, The Celebration of Excellence, Teacher/Staff Appreciation, Academic Recognition, Wellness Wednesdays, Beautification, Grants, Scholarships, Senior Night, and more!
Dublin Scioto PTO is a tax-exempt organization under section 501c(3) of the IRS code. To make a donation: via PayPal

Volunteers Needed for Cafe Thrift

Volunteers Needed for Cafe Thrift

Cafe Thrift is coming up on Tuesday, December 6. For those new to Scioto, Cafe Thrift is a large FREE shopping event started by students, teachers and PTO 11 years ago and is very important to our Irish Community. We collect (new and gently used) clothing, shoes and accessories from community members, Plato’s Closet and OneDublin throughout the year.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are bit behind in getting ready for the big day in sorting and organizing donations. We could really use the help of our Scioto families to help make sure this is a successful event! Please consider signing up to help – we have a number of dates available. Even if you are unable to commit to the two hour time slot, any time is greatly appreciated!. This Signup Genius will be updated as we get closer to the big day! Thank you so much for your support!

HOMECOMING

The Dublin Scioto Homecoming Dance will be held from 7:30-10:30 p.m. on October 1 at Dublin Scioto High School. Tickets are available through Hometown Ticketing from September 23-October 1 at 12:00 p.m. Scioto students may invite a guest from another school with completion of a guest form (available when tickets go on sale).

Please remind your student to get their tickets before NOON on SATURDAY!

Students MUST arrive by 8:30 p.m. to be admitted.

Football Gate Workers Needed!

Scioto PTO is looking for volunteers to scan tickets at the home varsity football games. We are in need of 6-8 adults who are able to come early to the game and scan tickets at either the home or away gate. You will need to come with a fully charged phone and be able to download the hometown ticketing app to scan tickets. Arrival time is 5:30 p.m. You should be finished by the end of the 3rd quarter, usually around 9:00-9:30. The PTO gets paid per game and the funds will benefit the students, teachers, and staff of Scioto High School.  This is an easy way to support the Irish community!
